SSBQ is Back & Stronger Than Ever!

We are proud to announce the start of a new season for SSBQ! After a long 2 years of not having any offline events, we are proud to announce that the dawn of a new season is upon us. We will be hosting bi-weekly tournaments starting from July 24th, 2021. The season will be running until December 2021 and we plan on taking a break during the Holy Month of Ramadan. This season will comprise of 10 local tournaments and 1 major tournament to be announced at a later date. All of our tournaments will adhere to the guidelines set by the Ministry of Public Health, including the maximum number of attendees, showing your Ehteraz at the door, and regulations regarding wearing masks. Our locals will be hosted at Magician’s Majlis off of Omar bin Khattab St, you can find the location here: https://goo.gl/maps/QaJRU3jf3ani963RA.

Going forward for the season, we will be using the Smash World Tour stage list, in which the following stages are legal:

Starter Stages:

• Battlefield

• Final Destination

• Smashville

• Pokemon Stadium 2

• Town & City

Counter-Picks:

• Kalos Pokemon League

• Lylat Cruise

• Yoshi’s Story

• Small Battlefield

Do keep in mind, that we adhere to the Stage Clause during counter-picking.

In order to qualify for this season, players must play in at least 5 tournaments (Local or Major). The rankings will be updated after every tournament with it being hidden for the first 3 tournaments. Best of luck to all of our competitors!

The prizes for this season are as follows,

For 1st place - 1,000 QAR.

For 2nd place - 700 QAR.

For 3rd place - 300 QAR.
